PolitiFact says: Dave McCormick said he believed life "begins at conception" when he ran for Senate in 2022. This year, he's said he would not vote for a national abortion ban and he thinks abortion should be left to the states.
“Elissa Slotkin “signed a secret agreement with a CCP-linked Chinese battery company.”
PolitiFact says: Elissa Slotkin signed a nondisclosure agreement with the state-funded Michigan Economic Development Corp. The group funded a Chinese battery company's Michigan factory, but the company was not a party to the agreement.
“Elon Musk takes over Taylor Swift’s X account, causing her to lose 7 million followers and $100 million in brand deals.”

PolitiFact says: The northern lights are produced because of interactions between electrons and atoms and molecules of gases like oxygen and nitrogen. Experts say sprayed chemicals couldn't produce long-lasting and widespread lights.

PolitiFact says: Detroit reported a 41% absentee ballot return rate as of Oct. 15. Experts said that might be influenced by Michigan’s expanded access for absentee voting, greater voter awareness, and voters' enthusiasm for candidates.

PolitiFact says: One analysis found that if Harris were to allow all of Trump’s 2017 tax law to expire, taxpayers would have a tax hike of about $2,800. But that figure is irrelevant, because Harris would continue much of the law.
