FactCheck.org says: When Trump left office in January 2021, the unemployment rate was 6.4%. BLS has estimated that the unemployment rate during the Great Depression peaked in 1933 at 24.9%.
“Vice President Kamala Harris' "plan will raise families’ taxes by nearly $2,600 a year.”
FactCheck.org says: The ad cites an analysis of the expiration of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. That's not Harris' plan.

PolitiFact says: In 2019, Harris marked the yes box on a questionnaire about decriminalizing all drug possession for personal use. But her response was about marijuana. In her 2024 campaign, she has called fentanyl a scourge.
“During her term, it’s not even believable, she let in 13,099 convicted murderers," referring to Vice President Kamala Harris and people entering the country illegally.”
FactCheck.org says: The “vast majority” of the 13,099 entered the U.S. and had their custody status determined before the Biden administration, according to the Department of Homeland Security. They also gained entry legally and illegally.
“Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp was calling President Joe Biden after Hurricane Helene but "hasn't been able to get him.”
PolitiFact says: Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp said Biden asked what Kemp needed and offered for Kemp to contact him directly.
“It [the 2019 impeachment] was over a phone call with the president, and … he could have grandstanded and played cute. But he didn’t do that. He said President Trump did absolutely nothing wrong. He said it loud and clear.”
Washington Post says: Zelensky never said this.

PolitiFact says: There are two different ways of looking at it; in one, Trump is responsible for more debt, and in the other, he's not.

PolitiFact says: Donald Trump received the present-day equivalent of $413 million from his father or his father’s estate over the course of his lifetime, but only a fraction was available to him when he "started out."

PolitiFact says: There is no evidence to support this. The FBI is investigating the incident as a potential assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump. The suspect has been arrested and charged with federal gun crimes.
“Vice President Kamala Harris is “talking about bringing back the draft.”
PolitiFact says: Trump's campaign said he was referring to a proposal in the Senate to register women for the draft. That idea, which hasn't passed yet, wouldn't reinstitute an actual draft. And Harris hasn't commented on the proposal.
“Former President Donald Trump admitted during the Sept. 10 presidential debate that he “blew up the Nord Stream pipeline.”
PolitiFact says: When former President Donald Trump said, "I ended the Nord Stream 2 pipeline," he referred to sanctions he signed while in office that affected the project’s completion, not a 2022 attack that damaged the pipeline.
“Under [Vice President] Kamala [Harris], we have fallen into manufacturing recession with 13,000 manufacturing jobs lost in the United States since just the start of this year.”
FactCheck.org says: In Biden’s first two years in office, there was a gain of 754,000 manufacturing jobs. But as was the case under Trump, manufacturing job growth stalled in Biden’s third year in office.
“Vice President Kamala Harris “is a communist. … She is really a Marxist.”
PolitiFact says: Communism and Marxism experts said Vice President Kamala Harris’ positions do not align with those philosophies. Harris is not against private home or business ownership, for example.
“Former President Donald Trump “cut overtime benefits for millions of workers.”
PolitiFact says: The Trump administration set a rule to raise the salary threshold for overtime pay, but by less than Obama’s rule. However, Obama's rule never took effect because a judge blocked it.
“Former President Donald Trump said he wants to be a dictator on “Day 1.”
FactCheck.org says: Trump said he wouldn’t be a dictator — “except for Day 1,” when he would close the southern border and drill for oil. Trump later said he was joking.
