5 checks for “Hillary Clinton”
“Billionaires got $400 billion richer" during the pandemic.”
FactCheck.org says: Liberal groups estimated a $434 billion increase in the net worth of America's more than 600 billionaires during "the first two months of the coronavirus pandemic." Actually, the pandemic started much earlier.
“It’s wrong that billionaires got $400 billion richer during the pandemic, while millions lost their $600 a week in extra unemployment.”
Washington Post says: The $400 billion figure reflects a date a month after the stock market fell sharply; billionaires had lost money collectively if a February date was used.
“Former White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders tweeted that recent events like the George Floyd protests, the pandemic, the impeachment, and the Russia investigation "happened because Hillary [Clinton] lost.”
FactCheck.org says: Sarah Huckabee Sanders did not write or post the tweet. The tweet is actually from an unverified Twitter account that misspelled her name.
