PolitiFact says: This characterization omits key details. He’s referring to a single-day displacement because of severe weather. No migrants remain in the school.

PolitiFact says: Educators, school officials and several Florida public school districts said critical race theory never has been part of Florida’s K-12 curriculums.

“Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' high school yearbook reads, "My Mount Rushmore is Jesus, Sir-Mixes-a-Lot, and Nintendo 64.”

FactCheck.org says: The quote did not actually appear beneath DeSantis' yearbook photo -- nor did any quote. A school district spokesperson told the Associated Press that no student's yearbook entry included a quote beneath their photo.

“Says Gov. Ron DeSantis “just signed legislation requiring students, faculty and staff at Florida’s public universities and colleges to register their political views with the state.”
