What RMIT ABC Fact Check found

Mr Howarth's claim that the number of people "living in impoverished dwellings or people living on the street" has fallen from 8,946 to 8,200 is cherrypicking. His decision to cite figures for rough sleepers over 15 years, ignores a sharp rebound in rough sleeping numbers in the most recent five years to 2016.
