Brian Kemp, Governor of Georgia

“Uses a skewed bar graph to show Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp's polling advantage over Republican rival David Perdue in a hypothetical general election matchup with Democratic candidate Stacey Abrams.”

FactCheck.org rated this: Misleading

FactCheck.org says: An Emerson College/The Hill poll indicates Kemp would beat Abrams by 2 percentage points more than Perdue would. But side-by-side graphics in the tweet make the difference appear larger.

Joe Biden, President of the United States

“If Republicans ever repealed the Affordable Care Act, that would mean "100 million Americans with preexisting conditions can once again be denied health care coverage by their insurance companies.”

FactCheck.org rated this: Misleading

FactCheck.org says: Those Americans could only be denied coverage on the individual market. Employer-based plans, the largest source of insurance in the U.S., couldn't deny an insurance plan to employees before the ACA.

Donald Trump, Former president of the United States

“So after 50 years of being virtually empty, I built up our oil reserves during my administration ... to 100% full. It’s called the Strategic National Reserves, and it hasn’t been full for many decades.”

FactCheck.org rated this: False

FactCheck.org says: When Trump took office as president in January 2017, the reserve held 695.1 million barrels of crude oil. The last full week before he left office in January 2021, it held 638.1 million barrels, or about 8% less.
