PolitiFact says: Two-thirds of American high school graduates have underdeveloped reading skills, measured by common grade-level standards. But people in this category are not so functionally illiterate that they cannot read a diploma.

PolitiFact says: This tweet appears to be doctored. It didn’t appear in multiple searches of archive websites and we didn’t find it searching Lake’s Twitter accounts.
“The First Amendment doesn’t allow you to willingly lie.”
PolitiFact says: In most cases, the First Amendment considers lies to be protected speech. There are exceptions to this general rule, but they are limited.
