PolitiFact says: Internal FBI guidance shows that a “threat tag” was created to track “investigations and assessments of threats" directed at school officials. There is no evidence it would be used on parents for simply protesting.

PolitiFact says: Numerous economists have said there probably will be inflationary effects from the bill, especially in the near term. However, most analysts say the bill’s inflationary impacts should be mild and brief.

PolitiFact says: Facebook, now called Meta, said its data policy and terms of service remain in effect and that its name change does not affect how the company uses or shares data.

“Bill Gates just admitted that the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines don’t work well.”

PolitiFact says: Gates never said that the vaccines don’t work well. His nonprofit, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, called claims stating otherwise false.

“Timothy Simpkins, a Black teen shooter, got 1 day in jail and $75,000 bail, while Kyle Rittenhouse, a white teen, got 2 months in jail and $2 million bail. “I think it’s pretty evident ... that white privilege is a myth.”

PolitiFact says: Two people were killed and a third was wounded in the shooting involving Rittenhouse during a protest in Kenosha, Wis. No one died in the Texas school shooting involving Simpkins that left three people wounded.

“Wife of Pfizer’s CEO dies after complications from the vaccine.”

PolitiFact says: "Our CEO’s wife is alive and well contrary to what was said on the Internet," a Pfizer spokesperson said. In addition, a search for news clips turned up no evidence to support the claim that Bourla’s wife died.

“Children are 50 times more likely to be killed by the Covid vaccines than by the virus itself.”

PolitiFact says: There is no clear evidence COVID-19 vaccines have caused any deaths. Several hundred children have died from COVID-19.

“Kyle Rittenhouse’s mother “drove him across state lines and dropped him off in the middle of a riot armed with an assault rifle” in Kenosha.”

PolitiFact says: There is no evidence that Wendy Rittenhouse drove her son to Kenosha, and no evidence that her son was armed when he left their Illinois home for Kenosha.
