Joe Biden, Democratic presidential nominee

“Suburbs are by and large integrated.”

PolitiFact rated this: Half True

PolitiFact says: Studies show that suburbs today are, on the broadest level, significantly more integrated than they previously. However, more than 2/3 of Americans, and 3/4 of whites, don't live in substantially integrated neighborhoods

Donald Trump, president

“Barack Obama and Joe Biden "passed a tax bill that gave us all of these privileges for depreciation, tax credits. We build a building, and we get tax credits, like the hotel on Pennsylvania Ave.”

PolitiFact rated this: Needs context

PolitiFact says: The Trump campaign cited a tax change under Obama, but it's not clear how that relates to his Pennsylvania Avenue hotel. That hotel earned a $40 million tax break under a law on the books since 1976.

Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, U.S. Rep., D-Fla.

“Says Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Gimenez “approved a 67% pay raise for himself and increased his own pension. He makes $250,000 a year, more than almost every big-city Mayor in the country. He also kept his taxpayer-funded Mercedes-Benz after slashing $400 million in government jobs and spending.”

PolitiFact rated this: Half True

PolitiFact says: While Gimenez was a county commissioner about a decade ago, he had a car allowance for a Mercedes-Benz. When he became mayor he took over the lease personally.

Joe Biden, Democratic presidential nominee

“Says Amy Coney Barrett “has a written track record, disagreeing adamantly with the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold the ACA. In fact, she publicly criticized Chief Justice Roberts’ opinion upholding the law eight years ago.”

PolitiFact rated this: Mostly True

PolitiFact says: Barrett hasn’t written a lot about the Affordable Care Act, but what she has written has been decidedly negative about the Supreme Court’s 2012 ruling upholding its constitutionality.
