PolitiFact says: Ticket prices for Taylor Swift’s remaining Eras Tour dates are more than $800, with many in the $1,000-plus range. The post links to a satire website.
“Two weeks ago 100 GOP lawmakers voted against additional FEMA funding.”
PolitiFact says: Reich’s claim is partially accurate because Sept. 25, 18 Senate Republicans and 82 House Republicans voted against a stopgap funding bill to avert a government shutdown. But the bill was not only for FEMA.
“Video shows “people attempting to flee Florida & Hurricane Milton.”
“FEMA is supposed to help out white people last for the purpose of ‘equity.’ … It’s literally on the FEMA website.”

PolitiFact says: North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper requested a federal major disaster declaration Sept. 27 and President Joe Biden approved it the next day. Twenty-five counties were covered in the declaration, regardless of how they voted.
“Patents dating back to the 1800s show that people can control the weather.”
PolitiFact says: Meteorologist, atmospheric science experts told PolitiFact that they knew of no technology that allows anyone to control the weather or create a hurricane, and they denied that patents prove weather control is possible.
“Rep. Ruben Gallego is “controlled by the cartels. His own father was a Colombian drug trafficker, and so he’s got links to the cartel.”
PolitiFact says: Ruben Gallego's father was arrested for drug crimes when Gallego was a child. Gallego's father left the family when he was young and he said they have rarely spoken. There's no evidence Gallego has "links to the cartel."

“Teachers and nurses and firefighters are paying a higher tax rate than billionaires and the biggest corporations.”
PolitiFact says: Most firefighters, teachers and nurses earn between $50,000 and $100,000, and 91% of people in that range pay less than 15% in taxes. Most billionaires and corporations pay a higher rate than that.
“Video shows “geoengineering happening” as Hurricane Milton approaches Florida.”
PolitiFact says: The video does not show Hurricane Milton approaching Florida. It was uploaded in 2021. Experts told PolitiFact geoengineering cannot form hurricanes.
“A Republican representative posted a response to the vice presidential debate before it happened.”
“Hurricane Milton is part of Tampa’s plan to become a “15-minute city.”
PolitiFact says: A NOAA official told PolitiFact that human weather modification did not cause Hurricane Milton. The "15-minute city" is an urban planning concept that has been the target of conspiracy theories during natural disasters.

PolitiFact says: On May 23, 2017, Trump met with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in Bethlehem in the West Bank. We found no evidence that Trump has been to Gaza.

PolitiFact says: FEMA funding for migrants doesn't come at disaster relief’s expense. Trump’s administration shifted FEMA funding — including money from the Disaster Relief Fund — to address immigration. FEMA is not out of money.
“FEMA, FAA are “blocking” delivery of Starlink devices and supplies to North Carolina’s hurricane-hit areas.”
PolitiFact says: FEMA, the FAA and North Carolina emergency response officials have rebutted claims that FEMA or the FAA were blocking flights carrying hurricane relief supplies.
“Hurricane Helene was planned to seize land in North Carolina for lithium mining.”
PolitiFact says: Human weather modification didn’t cause Hurricane Helene. Experts said there are no projects that can modify or create hurricanes. North Carolina officials said the state’s land is not being seized for lithium mining.
