“Photo from an Aug. 14 campaign event in Michigan shows “JD Vance couldn’t fill a small room.”
PolitiFact says: The photo misleads about the crowd size at Republican vice presidential candidate and Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance’s Aug. 14 campaign rally in Michigan. It was shared on X almost two hours before Vance took the stage.
“Photo shows former President Donald Trump “asleep at the 2017 NATO summit.”
“Says Elon Musk posted on X, “Any harassment of Trump supporters using the term ‘weird’ will be punished.”
“Says Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz had his stomach pumped “after overingesting horse semen.”
“Sen. Rick Scott does not support abortion exceptions.”
PolitiFact says: Sen Rick Scott supports limiting abortion with exceptions. Scott said he would have signed Florida's 6-week ban, which includes some exceptions and said he supports a 15-week limit with rape, incest and health exceptions
“Video shows Boston Red Sox player Jarren Duran getting a “MASSIVE” ovation after his two-game suspension for homophobic slur.”
PolitiFact says: A social media video claims to show Boston Red Sox fans giving a standing ovation to outfielder Jarren Duran’s return from a two-game suspension for using a homophobic slur. But the video was altered.
“Video shows former President Donald Trump freezing up.”
“Videos of media talking about Tim Walz as a "happy warrior" are proof of government propaganda legalized by Barack Obama.”
PolitiFact says: The Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012, signed into law by President Barack Obama, did not legalize propaganda in the U.S., and has no effect on privately owned news outlets.
“Project 2025 would end gay marriage.”
PolitiFact says: Project 2025 includes no proposal to eliminate same-sex marriage, but the document does refers to heterosexual families as "ideal."

PolitiFact says: A Minnesota law requiresschools provide access to menstrual products in school bathrooms but not distinguish by sex or gender, saying period products "must be available to all menstruating students."
“Photo of Kamala Harris’ Aug. 7 rally near Detroit was AI-generated and “there was nobody there.” Attendees pictured “didn’t exist.”
PolitiFact says: Local news reports and dozens of photos and videos from local and national media outlets documented an Aug. 7 Kamala Harris-Tim Walz campaign rally with thousands of attendees at Michigan’s Detroit Metropolitan Airport.
“Says his Jan. 6, 2021, speech on the White House Ellipse drew the “same number of people,” as the 1963 March on Washington where Martin Luther King Jr. gave his “I Have a Dream” speech.”
PolitiFact says: If Trump is comparing his Jan. 6 speech on the Ellipse to King's 1963 March on Washington speech, then the latter was perhaps four times bigger.

PolitiFact says: After 24 years of service, Walz retired in May 2005 to run for Congress. He submitted retirement paperwork months before. In March 2005, his unit was notified of possible deployment. The official order came in July 2005.

PolitiFact says: In 2021, almost 4 times as many Minnesotans moved to Florida than Floridians moved to Minnesota. For years, more people move from upper Midwestern states to Florida than the inverse, and predates Gov. Tim Walz's tenure
“In Pompano Beach, Florida, Somali immigrants illegally in the U.S. were in line to get driver’s licenses and “all you need to vote is a driver's license.”
PolitiFact says: Florida does not allow immigrants in the U.S. illegally to obtain driver’s licenses. Only U.S. citizens can vote in federal elections.
