PolitiFact says: House Speaker Kevin McCarthy said Sept. 1 that there would be a House vote before proceeding with an impeachment inquiry. McCarthy said Sept. 12 that he was proceeding with an impeachment inquiry. He did not hold a vote.

PolitiFact says: There is overwhelming evidence that an American Airlines plane crashed into the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001, not a missile.
