The UNHRC resolution did not absolve the Philippines from EJKs and other human rights abuses. It offers "technical cooperation and capacity building" between the Philippine government and the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in probing alleged human rights abuses, including arbitrary detention and EJKs, in the country.
