“The stomach should not be hit by any hard object during menstruation, as this might injure the uterus and cause a woman to vomit blood. This might also result in the development of ovarian cancer.”

What Vera Files found

Vomiting of blood after getting hit in the stomach is most probably due to a “severe damage” in the stomach or its surrounding organs, and, “in most situations,” does not involve or affect the uterus and the rest of the female reproductive system, said doctor Marjorie Santos of the Philippine Society of Maternal and Fetal Medicine. There is also no link between "falls, bruises, and broken bones" and cancer, according to the American Cancer Society.
