“Those who receive the COVID-19 vaccine will face a 1-in-10,000 chance of death”

According to FDA documents, during the trials, two out of 21,000 trial participants who got the vaccine died. One of those two people died from a heart attack while the other died from arteriosclerosis. However, this does not mean that you have a 1-in-10,000 chance of death. It means that one out of 10,000 trial participants died during the trial. It is inaccurate to specifically extrapolate the results of a vaccine trial to an entire population.
