Ang Term of Office and Privileges of senators ay nagpapahintulot sa kanila na mag praktis ng abogasya ngunit sa mga paglilitis at pagdinig, "ang pagharap ay maaaring gawin hindi [nila] kundi ng ibang mga miyembro ng [kanilang] law office" alinsunod sa pagbabawal ng konstitusyon.
