What Vera Files found

While it is true that Robredo resigned from the Cabinet in 2016 as chairperson of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council, she only did so after having been instructed by the president to "desist from attending all Cabinet meetings." In her resignation letter, she said the directive “effectively made it impossible for [her] to do [her] job.”
