“Wearing face mask and face shield provides the same protection from COVID-19 as getting inoculated with the vaccine.”
Harry Roque Claim dated 24 Jun 2021.

What Vera Files found

One “cannot equate” the protection from wearing face mask and face shield to that of getting COVID-19 vaccines, said physician Anthony Leachon, former special adviser to the National Task Force Against COVID-19. These protective gear do not provide “permanent protection” and “are not meant to produce antibodies to actually create an immune response,” unlike what one gets from approved COVID-19 vaccines, he explained.
