“Photo posted March 22 on Facebook shows an American fighter jet intercepting a Russian bomber near Alaskan airspace.”
FactCheck.org says: The incident was not related to the current situation in Ukraine; the photo appeared in an article published in Aero Magazine in June 2020.
“Says Gov. Tony Evers gave $2.4 million in COVID relief money to Planned Parenthood affiliates throughout Wisconsin “to bail them out and fund abortions.”
“The war in Ukraine is “scripted and staged.”
PolitiFact says: News reports, testimonies of citizens-turned-fighters, and a swift global response all fly in the face of baseless claims that Russia’s war on Ukraine is “staged.”
“Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wore a Nazi cross symbol.”
PolitiFact says: An Iron Cross visible on some of Zelensky’s military green T-shirts is not a Nazi symbol. It represents the official emblem of Ukraine’s armed forces and includes the country’s coat of arms in the center.
“As I’ve said over and over, part of my concern with Judge Jackson is that she has not followed the prosecutors’ sentences.”
Washington Post says: Trump nominated judges also did not follow prosecutor recommendations.
“Carriolas fueron dejadas en una estación de tren en Polonia para bebés ucranianos”
“Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson "described in a speech to a law school what you were doing as critical race theory.”
FactCheck.org says: Jackson said CRT "doesn't come up in my work as a judge. It's never something that I've studied or relied on." Her speech was about sentencing policy, not sentencing decisions.
“Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson “gave child porn offenders sentences below the guidelines and below what the prosecutors were requesting,” showing she is “soft on child pornography offenders.”
PolitiFact says: Judge Jackson is a lot like other federal judges. Nationally, more than two-thirds of sentences in these cases are below federal guidelines. Prosecutors and judges often ignore the guidelines.
“Photo shows a Home Depot worksheet on “privilege” used to train its employees.”
PolitiFact says: A Home Depot document called “unpacking privilege” on racial and social privilege was created by Home Depot’s Canadian division. It wasn't approved by the company’s corporate office nor is it part of an employee training
“Virginia Tech swimmer Reka Gyorgy tweeted, “My finals spot was stolen by Lia Thomas, who is a biological male.”
“Yo nunca he visto a los CDC decir” que los niños tienen que ponerse cuatro dosis de la vacuna contra la poliomielitis.”
FactCheck.org says: Los Centros para el Control y la Prevención de Enfermedades dicen que “recomiendan ponerles cuatro dosis de la vacuna contra la poliomielitis a los niños”, con la última de ellas entre los 4 y 6 años de edad.
“Child porn cases presided over by Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson "all resulted in incarceration of some magnitude.”
FactCheck.org says: One case resulted in just three months.
“La desactivación con agua de una bomba que cayó sobre Ucrania fue una “actuación”
“[Pennsylvania Republican candidate for U.S. Senate Mehmet] Oz was a spokesman for a group who wanted to defund the police.”
FactCheck.org says: Dr. Mehmet Oz has been outspoken about opposing defunding the police. An Affordable Care Act ad that Oz did for California Endowment in 2010 was his only affiliation with the foundation.
“At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson advocated that “each and every criminal defendant in D.C. Corrections custody should be released.”
PolitiFact says: Blackburn’s statement creates an impression that Jackson advocated for releasing incarcerated defendants en masse, and that’s wrong. She cites only part of a ruling by Jackson.
“Biden "wants to buy lithium from China for electric cars.”
PolitiFact says: The U.S. currently buys lithium from China but the White House isn’t trying to buy more; it’s trying to buy less.
“¿Es peligroso que los varones jóvenes se vacunen contra el covid-19 por riesgo de miocarditis?”
“Gov. Tony Evers brought Republicans and Democrats together to cut income taxes for the middle class.”
“In April 1997, there was a ‘gas out’ conducted nationwide in protest of gas prices. Gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight.”
PolitiFact says: There's no evidence a 1997 gas boycott reduced gas prices by 30 cents overnight. It often takes time for gas prices to respond to changes in demand, so it is unlikely a one-day boycott would drive down prices this much.
