FACTLY says: The news regarding the death of Pranab Mukherjee is not true. Both his son and daughter has clarified on Twitter that the rumours are false and Pranab Mukherjee is ‘still alive & haemodynamically stable’
FactCheck.org says: Harris was born in Oakland, California, which makes her a natural born U.S. citizen and eligible to serve as president.
PolitiFact says: Trump’s executive order doesn’t extend an existing moratorium. It takes a softer approach, telling executive branch officials to think about possible solutions to evictions during the pandemic.
FactCheck.org says: Biden committed to picking a woman to be his running mate. He didn’t specify a woman of a particular race or ethnicity.
FACTLY says: The women in the image along with Aditya Thackeray is not Rhea Chakraborty, she is actress Disha Patani. The image was clicked when the duo went for an outing back in June 2019 and several news portals reported the same.
PolitiFact says: The filibuster did not emerge from debates over slavery or segregation. However, historians agree that the parliamentary tactic was closely affiliated with opposition to civil rights for more than a century.
Vera Files says: Reports and findings of several human rights watchdogs and advocacy groups, both local and international, refute President Duterte’s claim.
