“A video shows a Muslim woman removing her burqa to offer prayers at a Durga Puja pandal in West Bengal.”
What FACTLY found
The video does not show a real incident; it is a scripted video made for educational purposes, uploaded on Facebook on 10 October 2024 by actress Sanjjanaa Galrani. The original video includes a disclaimer stating that the page features scripted dramas, parodies, and awareness videos. Another video filmed at the same Durga Puja pandal further confirms the viral video is scripted.
