Former CBI Chief Alok Kumar Verma had submitted his resignation letter on 11 January 2019, a day after the PM-led selection panel sacked him as the CBI Chief and transferred him as the Director of Fire Services. Alok Verma in his resignation letter questioned the selection panel’s decision based on the Central Vigilance Committee report. But Alok Verma had not made any statement calling Narendra Modi the most corrupt Prime Minister of Independent India
