According to a Lok Sabha reply, dated 20 July 2018, as of March 2018, India’s outstanding loan with the World Bank stood at $ 34285.16 million. Moreover, as per the World Bank, as of 31 December 2021, India’s outstanding debt to IBRD & IDA, in regards to the various development projects stands at $ 18.6 billion and $ 0.72 billion, which adds up to $ 19.32 billion, which is much lower compared to the amount claimed in the viral post
