There is no evidence to show that Mughal emperor Aurangzeb fought the Chinese and took control of Kailash Manasarovar. Aurangzeb, since he came to power in 1658, had military campaigns against Ahoms in the north-east, Yusufzai and Sikhs in the north-west. He annexed Bijapur in 1685 and Golconda in 1687.
