“Photo shows an astronaut statue in a church built in the 1600s. Experts are unable to explain it”

What FACTLY found

The sculpture in the photo is related to the New Cathedral of Salamanca, which was built between 1513 and 1733, in Spain. While the church is centuries old, the astronaut sculpture was added during the renovation works in the 1990s. There is no mystery involved as the Church’s website itself mentions regarding the addition of astronaut sculpture in the 1990s
