“Recent video of an elected Karnataka MLA threatening a police officer at his house”
What FACTLY found
The video shared in the post shows Jaffar Hussain Meraj, an elected MLA from Nampally constituency in Telangana, speaking to the Police Superintendent in Jagtial over the row of Jagtial Rural Sub-Inspector Anil Kumar’s alleged assault of Muslim women for refusing a seat to his wife in a TSRTC bus. The man speaking to the police officer in the video is not a MLA from Karnataka and the video has nothing to do with the 2023 Karnataka Assembly Elections
