PolitiFact says: Her statement is broad, and there is also no catch-all unit of measurement to determine whether all of Florida's distinct water bodies are dirtier or sicker. But experts mostly agreed with her assessment.

PolitiFact says: The Gateway Pundit article took remarks George Soros made about the 2024 presidential election out of context. The liberal billionaire did not endorse Gov. Ron DeSantis. Instead, Soros hoped for a "Democratic landslide."

PolitiFact says: HB 543 would not eliminate the requirements to get a concealed weapon license in Florida. Those requirements include passing a background check and completing a firearms training class.
“Ron DeSantis voted to cut $473 billion from Medicare.”
PolitiFact says: The resolution DeSantis voted for is not a law, nor did it immediately impact seniors' benefits. Medicare spending would have also grown under the proposal, albeit at a smaller pace.
“Student ID cards are a “source of fraud” at the polls.”
PolitiFact says: The Idaho lawmaker did not provide evidence to support her claim that student IDs are a source of fraud at the polls. Voter fraud in Idaho is rare.

PolitiFact says: A draft of a World Health Organization accord on pandemic prevention, preparedness and response doesn’t enable WHO to dictate pandemic responses to the U.S. or any country.

PolitiFact says: Over the course of 400 years, millions of Africans were taken from their homes and forced onto ships crossing the Atlantic Ocean, bound for Europe and the Americas for the purpose of enslavement. It is widely documented.

PolitiFact says: There are a half-dozen documented instances in which George Santos unambiguously referred to himself as Jewish.
