PolitiFact says: In Congress, Ron DeSantis voted for a bill that would have provided legal status to people who came to the U.S. illegally as children. He opposed bills that included a path to citizenship to a broader set of of people.
“Ron DeSantis had more learning loss during COVID" in Florida than California did.”
PolitiFact says: A McKinsey study found that California test scores fell enough to lose an average of 9 weeks, compared with 12 for Florida. That put California slightly below the 12-week national average and Florida slightly above it.
