PolitiFact says: DeSantis twice sent Florida National Guard service members to the southern border during Biden’s presidency. But it’s unclear how those deployments have affected illegal immigration mitigation.

PolitiFact says: Claims that politicians are reptilian are part of an unfounded and long-standing conspiracy theory.
“Ohio’s Issue 1 “allows for abortion after viability for…financial reasons.”
PolitiFact says: Issue 1 would codify abortion access in the state’s constitution, allowing for abortion bans after a fetus is viable, but require exceptions for the mother’s life and health. "Financial reasons" are not included.
“Only in Washington can you cut funding, add a pay-for to a new spending measure, and they say it's terrible for the deficit.”
PolitiFact says: The Congressional Budget Office’s long-standing practice has been to classify cuts to the IRS’ enforcement budget — which decrease collections — as reducing tax revenue. Businesses use the same logic.
“Over the past four decades, we’ve lost over 400,000 farms in America (and) over 140 million acres of farmland. And that’s an area roughly equal to the size of Minnesota, North and South Dakota combined.”
PolitiFact says: Biden is right about the decline in the number of U.S. farms and is close on the acreage lost, which is roughly equal to the land area of the three states he cited. The reason: Higher productivity.
“Photo shows “American soldiers praying for their country, for Israel before being deployed to defend Israel” in 2023.”
“Republicans in Congress are “trying to wipe out federal funding to end the HIV epidemic.”
PolitiFact says: Spending cuts proposed by a Republican-led House subcommittee would cut millions from HIV-related spending, but not entirely eliminate federal HIV spending, just certain programs.
