The total outstanding debt of the Telangana state are sourced through internal agencies like corporations, banks and also loans from the central government, loans from Provident fund etc. There are no debts due to borrowing from external agencies. As far as Kaleshwaram project is concerned, total borrowing for the construction was done internally from banks and corporations and no amount from the world bank was raised for the construction
