Arnolfo Teves Jr. Claim dated 6 Jul 2022.

What Vera Files found

Based on the state of the nation address of then-president Manuel Roxas in January 1948, the Manila International Airport (MIA) already existed at that time. That was 17 years before Marcos became president in 1965. According to the official website of the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA), the airport was originally a US Air Force base until it was turned over in 1948 to the Philippine government’s National Airport Corporation.
