The woman in the viral photo is Bangladeshi digital creator Adrita Azad Rithi, who clarified in a Facebook post that she is a Muslim by birth and suffered the injury in a road accident, not due to any assault. Her husband, Mohammad Abu Sufyan, also filed a police complaint against those spreading false narratives using her image. Multiple media outlets and the Bangladesh Cyber Security Team have confirmed that the claim is baseless and falsely linked to ‘love jihad’.
