The photo is not related to the August 2026 Nepal floods. Vietnamese photojournalist Na Son Nguyen took it in October 2007 in Can Ty, a remote village in Hà Giang province, Vietnam. The photo shows two Hmong siblings, with the boy comforting his younger sister while their parents were away working in the fields.
