The photos do not show a father and his two daughters martyred in the Indian Army. The first image is from 2024 and shows Lt Gen DP Singh being piped on his promotion by his two daughters, who are both serving Army officers. The second image is from June 2018 and shows BSF personnel carrying the coffins of four colleagues killed in cross-border firing in Jammu & Kashmir’s Samba district. PIB Fact Check in an X post has also stated that the viral claim is fake.
