What FACTLY found

The Unnao district administration, in order to check stubble burning has launched a unique initiative of barter scheme under which farmers can trade two trolleys of stubble for one trolley of bio-fertilizer (cow dung manure). However, we could not find any credible information regarding the UP government’s procurement of 5000 quintals of stubble from farmers and also about the initiative being implemented across all districts in UP
