“The video shows a Bangladeshi Muslim man being thrashed by a Hindu girl at Delhi University, India, after harassing her.”
What FACTLY found
The video does not show an incident at Delhi University, India, involving a Bangladeshi Muslim man and a Hindu girl. It actually shows students thrashing an outsider at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, on 26 April 2026, near the Faculty of Business Studies, for allegedly harassing female students. The university’s Assistant Proctor also confirmed this to the Newschecker team.
