“The video shows a BJP candidate crying after receiving just one vote in the 2026 Rajasthan civic elections.”
What FACTLY found
It is true that a BJP candidate named Kailash Chandra received one vote in the 2026 Rajasthan civic elections. However, the viral video is unrelated to this incident. The man seen in the video is Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Shivchandra Ram, who was seen crying during a press conference in June 2026 after being denied an MLC ticket in Bihar.
