The video dates back to 30 April 2024 and is unrelated to the imposition of the President’s Rule in February 2025. It shows a protest by women from the Meitei cultural movement, Meira Paibis (torchbearers), at Kumbi Police Station in Bishnupur district, Manipur. They were demanding the release of Village Defence Force members detained by the army and the return of their seized weapons.
