“The video shows a Quran that was found in the wreckage of the 12 June 2025 Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad.”
What FACTLY found
The video has been available online since at least March 2025, predating the 12 June 2025 Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad, and is unrelated to the incident. No credible reports confirm that a Quran was recovered from the site. However, a few media outlets reported that an almost-intact copy of the Bhagavad Gita was found in the wreckage though it could not be independently verified.
