It is an old video that has been circulating since May 2021 and shows BJP Yuva Morcha secretary Shivraj Nariyalwale being beaten by the police in Deepak Hospital in Jalna, Maharashtra, following unrest after the death of a COVID-19 patient. An inquiry found that excessive force had been used, leading to the suspension of a police sub-inspector and four constables.
