“The video shows dollars found buried in a house in Punjab during the August 2025 floods.”
What FACTLY found
The video is unrelated to the August 2025 floods in Punjab. It predates the floods and was uploaded in July 2025 on the social media handle of Galaxy Restore, which regularly posts videos showing bundles of notes, mobile phones, wallets, gold jewellery, and other valuables being found buried in soil or garbage heaps. Additionally, no media reports or credible information confirm that dollars were found buried in a house in Punjab during the August 2025 floods.
