“The video shows police personnel dancing in celebration of the BJP’s victory in the 2026 West Bengal Assembly elections.”
What FACTLY found
This video has been available online since at least 10 September 2022, predating the 2026 West Bengal Assembly elections. A social media post from that time states that it shows policemen participating and dancing during Ganpati Visarjan in Kolhapur. The location visible in the video matches Gangavesh Road in the same city, confirming that it is neither from West Bengal nor linked to any election celebrations.
