The video was originally uploaded on 16 November 2024, on a Facebook page by Kapil Raj, an entertainment journalist at Sangri Times, who claimed it was from the Ganga. However, the Maha Kumbh Mela began on 13 January 2025 confirming that the video is not related to the Kumbh Mela.
