“The viral video shows an Indian student serving in the Russian Army pleading for help from a battlefield.”
What FACTLY found
The video is AI-generated, not real. The original post came from an Instagram account that tagged it as AI, and AI-detection tools flagged the clip as 99.95% artificially generated. While there are reports about Indians being misled into joining the Russian Army, this viral video does not show any real Indian soldier and is entirely digitally created.
