The viral video is digitally manipulated. The original 1 hour 57 minute press conference held by BSF IG Ashok Yadav on 1 December 2025 contains no such statements. The audio in the viral clip is a deepfake, confirmed by AI voice-detection tools. Further, news reports covering the press conference also do not mention any such remarks. Additionally, PIB Fact Check clarified that Pakistani propaganda handles shared a doctored video falsely portraying his statements.
