“The viral video shows Priyanka Gandhi mocking PM Modi after the recent incident where derogatory remarks were made against his late mother.”
What FACTLY found
The viral video is not recent and has no connection to the remarks made against PM Modi’s late mother. It is from 15 November 2023, when Priyanka Gandhi addressed a pre-poll rally in Datia, Madhya Pradesh. During the rally, she quipped that a film titled “Mere Naam” should be made about Modi, mocking him for often appearing sorrowful. The video predates the recent controversy and was a political jibe, not related to the incident involving Modi’s mother.
