According to reports, five people were killed and around 50 were injured by electrocution during the Jagannath Ratha Yatra in Bogura on 07 July 2024. The incident happened when the chariot’s metal dome came into contact with a high-voltage overhead wire and caught fire. Bogura a city in northern Bangladesh.
