“Video shows a devastating earthquake that occurred in Delhi on 07 April 2025, in which several thousand people were killed.”
What FACTLY found
No such earthquake occurred in Delhi on 07 April 2025. A portion of the viral video actually shows a storm that struck Zagreb, Croatia, in July 2023. According to news reports, on 04 April 2025, a 5.0 magnitude earthquake occurred in Nepal. Tremors from this earthquake were felt across Northern India, including the Delhi-NCR region. However, none of the reports mentioned any damage to life or property in India as a result of these tremors
