The incident took place on 25 February 2025 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The video actually shows a mob mistaking two men for robbers and assaulting them. They were hung upside down on a foot overbridge and beaten. Police later rescued them and admitted them to the hospital. The victims were identified as Mohammad Nazim and Mohammad Bakul. There is no communal angle to it.
