PolitiFact says: Donald Trump is the first president in almost a century to see employment decline nationally between his first and last days in office. But Herbert Hoover's record was worse, and the pandemic was the main reason why.

“When unemployment goes down, inflation goes up.”

PolitiFact says: Pelosi’s comment is outdated. There is still an element of truth to this theory, but several decades of real-world experience has shown that the relationship between unemployment and inflation is not all that precise.

“The CDC has the power to extend the eviction moratorium.”

PolitiFact says: Pelosi implies that the executive branch has clear authority to extend the eviction moratorium, but legal experts say it’s a long shot at best.

“The Republican tax bill passed in 2017 "gave 83% of the benefits to the top 1%.”

PolitiFact says: The imbalance toward the top 1% will only reach 83% by 2027, due to the expiration of several important middle-income tax cuts and a change in how inflation is calculated.

FactCheck.org says: While the U.S. has the most confirmed cases and deaths by a wide margin, it does not have the most in either category on a per-capita basis.

PolitiFact says: Around 80% of Americans support letting the immigrants stay, but support for granting them a path to citizenship is weaker among Republicans.

“Says President Donald Trump is “morbidly obese.”

PolitiFact says: Donald Trump does not fit the CDC’s description of “severely obese.” Stories have questioned both Trump’s height and weight, but it’s still extremely unlikely he would be classified as morbidly or severely obese.

“Even President Trump’s own EPA has admitted that this rule (on air pollutants) threatens to cause serious health problems including brain damage and death and to inflict billions of dollars of economic damage on our struggling economy.”

PolitiFact says: An EPA science advisory board raised issues with the EPA’s approach and recommended doing a new assessment, but that recommendation wasn’t binding.
